Acusensus (ASX:ACE) secured a Kentucky agreement worth up to US$20 million for real-time work zone speed enforcement.

The statewide programme is authorised under Kentucky law to monitor highway construction zones where workers are present.

The agreement runs from August 2026 to July 2028, with potential extension options through July 2031.

An initial first-year order of US$2.1 million covers the deployment and maintenance of mobile camera trailers.

Following the announcement, the Acusensus share price was up at $1.12.

The company stated revenue is generated from fixed monthly trailer fees rather than driver citation volumes.

Acusensus previously operated a smaller pilot programme in Kentucky before expanding into this statewide contract.
