Avient Q3 sales rises 8.2% to $815M

Avient Corporation (NYSE:AVNT), a leader in specialized and sustainable material solutions, announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2024, reflecting notable growth in revenue and earnings.

The company reported third-quarter sales of $815.2 million, an 8.2% increase compared to $753.7 million in the third quarter of 2023.

Avient’s GAAP earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations reached $0.41, up substantially from $0.06 in the same quarter last year.

The third-quarter GAAP EPS includes $0.07 attributed to special items and a $0.16 intangible amortization expense.

Excluding these, Avient’s adjusted EPS was $0.65, improving from $0.57 in the prior year.

Reflecting confidence in its financial performance, Avient has narrowed its 2024 full-year adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $2.63 to $2.67, reflecting an 11% to 13% growth over the prior year.

Previously, the guidance range was $2.55 to $2.70. 

Further demonstrating its financial health, Avient announced a 5% increase in its annual dividend, raising it to $1.08 per share.

This marks the company’s fourteenth consecutive annual dividend increase, highlighting Avient’s commitment to returning value to its shareholders through consistent dividend growth.
