Ventia (ASX:VNT) has secured an amendment to its existing contract with NBN Co. The contract, originally announced in June 2025, forms part of NBN Co’s ongoing national program to upgrade the remaining Fibre to the Node network to Fibre to the Premises technology.
Awarded to Ventia's subsidiary, Visionstream Australia, the contract amendment is expected to generate approximately $280 million in additional revenue over the next three and a half years.
It also includes an optional two-year extension at NBN Co's discretion.
As part of the new agreement, Ventia will deliver additional fibre infrastructure to support the upgrade of around 43,400 premises in the Australian Capital Territory-North region.
This marks a geographic expansion for Ventia within the scope of its existing works.
Dean Banks, Group CEO and Managing Director of Ventia, said the award reflects NBN Co's continued confidence in the company's ability to execute large-scale infrastructure projects.
"We're proud to continue supporting NBN Co's network upgrade and to demonstrate our commitment to service excellence," Banks said.
Work under the amended contract is scheduled to commence in mid-July.
