Resource Base (ASX:RBX) has been granted a deed of exploration by the Department of Defence.
The landmark approval provides the company with critical access to the Woomera Prohibited Area, specifically covering exploration licence EL7054.
The authorisation is the final green light required for the company to execute its highly anticipated exploration program within the mineral-rich Gawler Craton.
The newly accessible tenements span a total of 96km2 and are considered highly prospective for a "triple threat" of high-value commodities: gold, heavy mineral sands, and rare earth elements.
The strategic value of EL7054 is further underscored by its proximity to established players; it sits just 14km from PTR Minerals' Muckanippie HMS Project and is directly adjacent to the promising Artemis rare earth prospect.
Parallel to this development, Resource Base highlighted the potential of EL7060, a secondary tenure that did not require Defence clearance.
The site is geologically unique, situated over the only other known occurrence of an Anorthosite Suite in the region—a formation believed to be the primary engine for heavy mineral sand deposits.
