Hesai Group (NASDAQ:HSAI) today announced record financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025.
The company achieved full-year GAAP profitability, reporting a net income of RMB 435.9 million (US$62.3 million) on total revenue of RMB 3,027.6 million (US$432.9 million).
This financial milestone distinguishes Hesai as the first specialized lidar manufacturer to transition from a high-growth research entity into a sustainably profitable industrial powerhouse.
The company's performance was underpinned by a massive acceleration in shipment volume.
In the fourth quarter alone, Hesai shipped 631,095 units, bringing the full-year total to 1,620,406 units.
This volume reflects the rapid adoption of lidar-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) by global automotive OEMs.
Hesai’s flagship AT128 and the new ultra-thin ET25 sensors have become the de facto standard for Level 2+ and Level 3 autonomous features, particularly in the premium electric vehicle segment.
Strategic partnerships played a critical role in the year's success.
Hesai solidified its integration with NVIDIA DRIVE, ensuring that its sensors are natively supported in the next generation of autonomous vehicle reference architectures.
Furthermore, a new regional distribution agreement with Grab has expanded Hesai's footprint into the Southeast Asian robotaxi and delivery hub markets.
To meet this surging global demand, Hesai is scaling its "Maxwell" intelligent manufacturing center, aiming for an annual production capacity exceeding 4 million units in 2026.
Looking ahead, management has issued an aggressive outlook for 2026, raising shipment guidance to a range of 3 million to 3.5 million units.
