Yakult Australia, a probiotic drink company, fell victim to a cybercriminal group, reportedly identified as DragonForce, resulting in the theft of over 95GB of data, including employee records, credit applications, passports, and company contracts.

The company issued a statement on Dec. 23, acknowledging the breach and stating its collaboration with cyber incident experts for a thorough investigation.

While the extent of the impact is under scrutiny, all offices in Australia and New Zealand remain operational.

Yakult Australia has notified relevant authorities and is actively engaged in understanding the incident's implications.
