Worldcoin, a cryptocurrency project that utilises iris biometric technology, has reportedly come to an agreement with Kenyan authorities permitting it to continue operations in the country.

There had previously been potential regulatory hurdles which might have hindered the cryptocurrency's operation.

To ensure compliance, Worldcoin representatives are said to be collaborating directly with Kenyan regulators to meet the nation's requirements.

It is anticipated that Worldcoin will recommence its Kenyan iris scanning in early 2024.
