This growth coincides with the project achieving a significant milestone: surpassing one million daily active users.
Initially launched in July 2023 by Altman and co-founder Alex Blania, Worldcoin aims to offer a privacy-focused digital identity verification solution.
The project rewards users with its native WLD token in return for iris scans, a unique approach to user verification.
This milestone represents a significant increase from just 100,000 daily active users in November of the previous year, marking rapid growth and increasing interest in the Worldcoin ecosystem.
