Whitehaven Coal (ASX:WHC) finalises acquisition of Daunia and Blackwater mines

Whitehaven Coal completed the acquisition of the Daunia and Blackwater metallurgical coal mines and all shares in South Blackwater Coal from BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and Mitsubishi Development, part of the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance.

Whitehaven is focused on integrating the new assets seamlessly and engaging with local stakeholders.
