White Cliff Minerals received approval from the Nunavut Planning Commission for its Coppermine Project, a major initiative towards permitting its exploration plans for 2024.
The company can begin exploring activities with copper and silver mineralisation at previously identified sites.
The company plans to use advanced airborne sensing and data collection technology to identify areas for further study. The operations will be based out of Kugluktuk, a town near the project area.
Initial exploration activities will include mobilising field crews, acquiring satellite data, assessing modern airborne geophysical techniques, and drilling to test for further potential mineralisation.
