Looks like you?ll soon be able to order your skinny long mac topped up with a dollop of an NFT. According to interim Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, he revealed the famous coffeehouse is planning on launching a brand new Web3 rewards system.
The program still remains under wraps but Schultz did let slip that they are looking at using ?Starbucks-branded digital collectibles as both a reward and a community building element?. The project is set to be completely unveiled at Starbucks? Investor Day in September this year.
The move comes as part of Starbucks? digital initiative to attract more younger customers, with Schultz also saying the company has ?never been more relevant than they are today to Gen Z?.
