Westgold Resources, based in Perth, Western Australia, exceeded expectations for the fourth quarter of FY24, producing 52,795 ounces of gold at an average price of $3,493 per ounce.

For the fiscal year, total production reached 227,237 ounces, aligning with the upper end of its revised guidance of 220,000 to 230,000 ounces.

The company reported a $16 million increase in cash, bullion, and liquid investments for the fourth quarter of FY24, boosting total assets to $263 million by the quarter's end.

CEO Wayne Bramwell noted the achievement amidst ongoing high-value growth projects.
