Westar Resources (ASX:WSR) has completed negotiations to acquire 100% of an application adjacent to the Olga Rocks project, which is considered highly prospective for lithium, rare metals, and gold.
Westar Resources says the acquisition further enhances its Olga Rocks footprint of 4 granted mining leases and 2 prospecting permits.
It also says historical RAB drilling has identified multiple shallow pegmatite intercepts along strike of the interpreted central pegmatite zone, extending the potential strike length to approximately 3km.
Westar Resources says it intends to progress exploration activities to advance both the lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatite.
