Westar Resources launched gold exploration at the Mindoolah mining centre in Western Australia's Murchison region.

The initiative aims to assess gold presence at depth, leveraging preliminary observations of quartz veins indicating potential mineralisation.

Over 200 rock chip and grab samples from identified stockpiles, mainly quartz vein material, will be analysed, with results expected by April-end.

The company hints at potential mining viability due to the elevated gold price, possibly leading to collaborations with established producers.
