Vmoto will expand its manufacturing capacity with new facilities in Nanjing, China's Lishui Economic Development Zone.

The electric motorbike manufacturer acquired 30,045m2 of state-owned land on a 45-year leasehold basis for 13.5 million Chinese yuan (~$2.9 million) from its existing cash reserves.

New facilities costing 66 million yuan (~$14 million) will commence construction soon and are expected to be completed by September 2024.

The expansion will double the manufacturing space to 62,977m2 and increase production capacity from 150,000 to 300,000 units annually, in line with their global e-mobility growth strategy.
