Vitalik Buterin has proposed implementing ERC-3770 and ERC-7683 upgrades for Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) to enhance transaction processes and cross-chain interoperability.

ERC-3770 introduces a new address standard to reduce user errors, aiming to simplify transactions across different chains that use the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Buterin emphasises the overdue need for these upgrades to improve user experience and address ambiguity in current address formats.

Additionally, Ethereum plans a $2 million "Attackathon" to bolster protocol security ahead of the Pectra Hard Fork, demonstrating ongoing efforts to enhance the platform's functionality and security measures.
