During Saturday's tumultuous movements in the cryptocurrency market, two major stablecoins experienced a fleeting deviation from their peg to the U.S. dollar.

Ethena's USDE (CRYPTO:USDE), recognised as the fifth-largest stablecoin by market capitalisation, saw a decrease in its value, momentarily dropping to $0.965.

In a similar market wave, FDUSD (CRYPTO:FDUSD), the fourth-largest stablecoin, also saw its value decline, reaching a low of $0.9557 per coin.

These shifts underline the volatility inherent in the crypto market, even among assets designed to maintain stable values.
