Upbit, one of South Korea's major cryptocurrency exchanges, experienced a significant fluctuation in its 24-hour trading volume towards the end of March and early April.

On March 5th, the platform saw its yearly peak with nearly $15 billion in trades, correlating with Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) reaching a new all-time high of $69,200.

This surge in trading volume highlighted the exchange's role in the dynamic crypto market.

However, by the end of March, there was a notable decrease, with the volume dropping to $2.6 billion on March 31st and slightly recovering to $3.8 billion as April began.

This shift demonstrates the volatile nature of the cryptocurrency trading landscape, affected by various market forces and investor sentiment.
