Check Point bolsters cyber defense with Cyberint acquisition

Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP), a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Cyberint Technologies, a leading provider of external risk management solutions.

The acquisition of Cyberint will strengthen Check Point's Infinity Platform by adding comprehensive external risk management capabilities.

This includes the ability to detect and take down impersonating websites, phishing and social media accounts, as well as stolen credentials and leaked data associated with organizations.

Cyberint's technology will also enable companies to detect vulnerable internet-facing websites and applications and prioritize and effectively mitigate these vulnerabilities.

Following the announcement, Check Point's share price held steady at $191.13.
