Check Point (NASDAQ:CHKP) to acquire Cyberint to boost SOC capabilities

Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP) has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Cyberint Technologies.

The acquisition aims to enhance Check Point’s Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and expand its managed threat intelligence services by integrating Cyberint’s advanced AI-driven risk management solutions into the Check Point Infinity Platform.

Cyberint, established in 2010 and employing over 170 people globally, has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the External Risk Management sector.

This acquisition promises to reinforce Check Point's portfolio with advanced technologies designed to anticipate and mitigate external threats.

The transaction is slated for completion by the end of 2024, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Following the announcement, Check Point Software Technologies share price were unchanged at $188.98.
