The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the Algorand Foundation, plans to launch the Algorand Blockchain Academy in early 2024, which aimed at educating over 22,000 UNDP staff members about blockchain technology applications.

Robert Pasicko, a UNDP expert, highlighted the academy's role in equipping their team with skills to tackle global challenges using blockchain technology.

Doro Unger-Lee of the Algorand Foundation views the initiative as a crucial step in identifying and implementing blockchain solutions that can aid the UNDP in achieving sustainable development goals in various areas.
