UK Finance, a leading trade association in the UK's banking and finance sector, has initiated an experimental project centered on the Regulated Liability Network (RLN).

Eleven member organisations are collaborating to explore RLN's potential across various dimensions, addressing technical and legal challenges.

The project aims to unveil customer benefits through scenarios like payment-upon-delivery to mitigate online fraud and enhancing transparency in homebuying to reduce conveyance fraud risks.

Additionally, the experiment evaluates the use of digital currencies for settling digital bonds, advancing digital financial solutions.

This initiative reflects UK Finance's commitment to improving the reliability and security of financial transactions through innovative technologies, potentially setting new standards for digital financial operations in the UK.
