TrueFi (CRYPTO:TRU) aims to reinvigorate the decentralised credit scene, two years after its peak in real-world asset engagement, introducing the Trinity protocol for enhanced capital efficiency.

The Trinity protocol debuts with the TRI token, a dollar-based digital asset supported by collateral like the tfBILL, representing a stake in short-term U.S. Treasury bills, to facilitate easier access to leverage and risk management.

Looking forward, TrueFi plans to diversify the collateral backing TRI to include more assets from its ecosystem, a variety of real-world assets from different protocols, and other crypto-native assets, broadening the protocol's applicability.

Trinity users can mint TRI tokens using tfBILL or other eligible collateral, offering a new avenue for exchanging these tokens for stablecoins and leveraging up to 92% of their value in TRI through a smart contract mechanism known as a "vessel."

This innovative approach not only streamlines the borrowing process but also allows users to achieve a substantial net yield between 15-20%, marking a significant advancement in the utilisation of real-world assets in the decentralised finance sector.
