Trip.com Group (NASDAQ:TCOM) has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of 2024.

For the period ending March 31, the travel service giant reported a substantial revenue increase, totalling RMB11.9 billion ($1.7 billion).

This marks a significant 29% growth compared to the RMB9.2 billion reported during the same quarter in 2023.

During the quarter, the company witnessed impressive gains across key revenue streams.

While accommodation bookings surged by 29% to reach RMB4.5 billion, transportation ticketing revenues climbed 20% to RMB5 billion.

Furthermore, Trip.com Group's net income rose markedly to RMB4.3 billion, up from RMB 3.4 billion in the previous year's first quarter, highlighting the company's operational efficiency and growing influence in the global travel market.
