In an interview at NFT.NYC, Mathieu Nouzareth, The CEO of probably one of the most well-known metaverse platforms, The Sandbox, announced that the company was collaborating with US media juggernaut, TIME.

The Sandbox will showcase NFTs in a digital space dubbed TIME square, making it TIME?s first-ever metaverse destination.

The whole aim of linking up with the world famous media company is to make more people aware of the business opportunities within the metaverse, and draw attention to digital art.

TIME isn?t the only big name The Sandbox has partnered with, they?ve also teamed up with other big hitters like Snoop Dogg and Adidas.

For anyone who?s paranoid about the metaverse being like some scary sci-fi movie, you don?t need to worry. Nouzareth said "It isn't like 'Ready Player One,' a dystopian nightmare".

Really, their ?vision isn't to replace reality." In fact, they just want it to be "the Manhattan of the metaverse".
