The Australian market continued its green streak into Thursday, closing the session 0.49% higher at 7151.40 points as a surge in energy stocks boosted the key index on the back of the price of Brent crude oil hitting 110 US dollars a barrel for the first time since 2014 overnight.

Hot Chili shares jumped 16.5% today after the top copper miner announced an offtake agreement with Glencore for future copper concentrate production from the company?s Costa Fuego (FWEGO) copper-gold project in Chile.

Corporate Travel Management shares rallied today after the ACCC approved the travel company?s proposed acquisition of Helloworld?s corporate and entertainment travel business.

And A2 Milk shares took a hit today after the dairy and infant formula company said it could take years for grazing to resume on the company?s flood-ravaged pastures among other long-term implications resulting from the catastrophic floods in QLD and NSW.
