The Australian market extended its green run into Tuesday, closing the session 0.19% higher at 7527.90 points buoyed by a strong rally for tech stocks.
The Reserve Bank of Australia has also held interest rates at a record low 0.1% for April, despite the soaring cost of living across the country.

Mineral Resources as shares in the mining services company rallied 5.7% today following the release of an update on the company?s lithium business, saying there has been unprecedented global customer demand for lithium products and Mineral Resources has agreed with its Joint Venture Partners to increase production from the Wodgina and Mt Marion spodumene mines based in Western Australia.
Alliance Aviation Services shares jumped 1.87% today after the ACCC announced it will not take enforcement action in relation to Qantas Airways acquiring a 19.9% stake in Alliance. The ACCC did however say it will continue to monitor Qantas?s conduct in the industry in relation to Alliance.
And DroneShield shares popped 2.44% today after the drone technology company announced a new partnership with location intelligence firm Nearmap to launch an enhanced version of the DroneSentry-C2 command-and-control software.
