Perpetual as shares in the Australian investment group plunged 6.6% today after the company made a $2.4bn takeover offer for rival, Pendal Group. Investors have responded negatively to the offer of $6.23 per share in a scrip and cash deal.
PointsBet shares rallied today almost 2.5% today after the online betting company announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, PointsBet Canada, has launched iGaming and sportsbook operations in Ontario, Canada and has taken its first bet.
And Emerging lithium producer Sayona Mining soared 32% today after announcing it has received confirmation that its Authier spodumene product performs as well as commercially available battery-grade lithium hydroxide as tested by Novonix.
