Tether (CRYPTO:USDT), through its newly formed division Tether Evo, has acquired a majority stake in Blackrock Neurotech with a $200 million investment.

Blackrock Neurotech, a leader in neuroscience and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology, plans to use the investment to commercialise its innovative medical solutions.

Tether Evo aims to bridge the gap between humans and technology, focusing on projects that redefine boundaries.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino emphasised that the investment was made from the company's profits, not stablecoin reserves.

The investment reflects Tether's vision of enhancing human evolution through the safe integration of the human brain and artificial intelligence computing.
