In a move signaled last month, Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) has officially increased the prices for its entire Model Y lineup in the United States by $1,000.

This price adjustment, which was announced in March and took effect on Monday, has been reflected on the Tesla website.

With this change, the starting price for the base variant of the Model Y has now been set at $44,990.

Meanwhile, the long-range and performance versions of the Model Y will now be sold at $49,990 and $53,490, respectively.

This pricing strategy aligns with Tesla's earlier communication about adjusting the cost of the Model Y vehicles across the board.
