Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) reported a fiscal third-quarter profit of $512 million on Wednesday, exceeding Wall Street expectations.
The company's net income amounted to 38 cents per share, while adjusted earnings, factoring in one-time gains and costs, reached 50 cents per share.
This beat the average estimate of 46 cents per share from five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research.
HPE, a global provider of IT products and services, posted revenue of $7.71 billion for the quarter, also surpassing analysts' forecasts of $7.67 billion.
Looking ahead, the company anticipates earnings per share of 52 to 57 cents for the fourth quarter, with projected revenue between $8.1 billion and $8.4 billion.
For the full fiscal year, HPE expects earnings per share to range from $1.92 to $1.97.
