Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ:JG) reports financial growth in Q2, revenue up 8%

Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ:JG), a leading provider of customer engagement and marketing technology services in China, today announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024.

The company reported revenues of RMB79.4 million (US$10.9 million), marking an 8% increase year-over-year.

This growth is attributed to the expanded adoption of Aurora Mobile's innovative marketing solutions across various industries.

Gross profit for the quarter reached RMB52.8 million (US$7.3 million), an 11% increase from the previous year.

Simultaneously, total operating expenses saw a significant reduction, down 15% year-over-year to RMB54.8 million (US$7.5 million).

Despite these gains, Aurora Mobile reported a net loss of RMB1.3 million (US$0.2 million), which is a substantial improvement from a net loss of RMB23.7 million in the same quarter last year. 

During the quarter, Aurora Mobile achieved a positive adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) of RMB1.6 million (US$0.2 million), a stark contrast to the negative RMB4.6 million from the previous year.

As of the time of writing this report, Aurora Mobile's share stood at $3.82.
