Amphenol reports solid Q3 earnings, surpassing Wall Street expectations

Amphenol Corp. (NYSE:APH) announced on Wednesday a robust third-quarter profit of $604.4 million, marking another positive result for the fiber-optic product maker.

The company reported earnings of 48 cents per share, with adjusted earnings, accounting for one-time gains and costs, reaching 50 cents per share.

This exceeded the expectations of analysts, who, on average, anticipated 45 cents per share according to Zacks Investment Research.

The company also posted higher-than-expected revenue of $4.04 billion for the quarter, surpassing Street forecasts of $3.77 billion, based on estimates from six analysts surveyed by Zacks.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, Amphenol forecasts per-share earnings between 48 cents and 50 cents, with revenue expected to range from $3.95 billion to $4.05 billion.

For the full fiscal year, the company projects earnings between $1.82 and $1.84 per share, with revenue estimated between $14.85 billion and $14.95 billion.

Meanwhile, Amphenol's share price has seen significant growth, increasing 35% since the beginning of the year.

Over the past 12 months, the company's stock has soared by 69%, reflecting strong investor confidence and market performance.
