Aerometrex partners with Agronomeye on $850,000 LiDAR project

Aerometrex (ASX:AMX) has been awarded a contract worth approximately $850,000 (GST inclusive) by Agronomeye, a Sydney-based AgTech company.

The contract involves the production of a comprehensive three-dimensional property model using LiDAR technology.

The project aims to support sustainable land management and underpin a carbon market initiative.

The LiDAR data provided by Aerometrex will be integrated into Agronomeye's AgTwinTM platform.

The fusion of data will enable enhancements in productivity, biodiversity, animal welfare, water use efficiency, and carbon projects.

The project, which is in line with Aerometrex's standard terms, is scheduled for completion by January 2025.

"This is another exciting project that builds on the value of LiDAR as a data source aligned in supporting critical sectors such as environmental sustainability," stated Steve Masters, Managing Director of Aerometrex.

Agronomeye's CEO, Stu Adam, exclaimed, "Aerometrex continually delivers premium solutions for our projects, and we are excited to be leveraging their LiDAR services yet again."

The partnership between Aerometrex and Agronomeye has been ongoing since 2020, demonstrating a strong collaborative relationship.

Aerometrex is a geospatial tech company that specialises in providing geospatial solutions and insights for its customers. Its products include MetroMap, LiDAR and 3D visualisation models.

It provides an online imagery Web serving application, MetroMap, which offers the company’s high quality, accurate imagery to a subscriber base.

At the time of reporting, Aerometrex's share price was $0.33.
