    Acacia Research reports Q4 loss of $13.4M, full-year revenue hits $122.3M

    Acacia Research Corp. (NASDAQ:ACTG), a New York-based technology patent licensor, reported a fourth-quarter loss of $13.4 million on Thursday, a stark contrast to the profit it posted in the same period a year earlier.

    The company recorded a per-share loss of 14 cents, with adjusted losses—excluding non-recurring costs and stock option expenses—amounting to 7 cents per share.

    Despite the quarterly loss, Acacia generated revenue of $48.8 million during the period.

    For the full year, the company reported a loss of $36.1 million, or 36 cents per share, marking a shift to a loss compared to the previous year.

    Annual revenue reached $122.3 million.

    Meanwhile, Acacia’s stock closed at $4.22 per share on Wednesday, a slight increase from its trading price of $4.02 a year ago, suggesting modest resilience in its market valuation despite the reported losses.
