Swedish asset manager Virtune has launched an exchange-traded product (ETP) on Nasdaq Stockholm to provide exposure to XRP (CRYPTO:XRP).

Virtune praised XRP for its ideal use in international transfers, emphasising its quick transaction times, transparency, reliability, and low fees.

XRP's strong community support and backing by fintech leader Ripple were also highlighted.

Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, believes XRP could become the next Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) if widely accepted for cross-border payments, potentially bringing in trillions of dollars.

The ETP, fully backed by XRP stored with Coinbase, marks the first of its kind on Nasdaq.

With rising interest in crypto ETFs, a Spot XRP ETF in the U.S. is considered likely in the future.
