Sundance Resources, a formerly listed company on the ASX, has resolved a dispute with the government of the Republic of Congo in West Africa concerning ownership rights to an iron ore mine.

Sundance had pursued compensation amounting to billions of dollars through international arbitration, though the specifics of the settlement agreement remain confidential.

The Republic of Congo, Sundance Resources, and Congo Iron Ore disclosed that mediation has concluded with the execution of a conditional binding confidential settlement agreement, effectively resolving the ongoing dispute.
