Summit Minerals identified five persistent soil geochemistry anomalies for lithium at its Phillips River Project in Western Australia.

The ultrafine fraction soil program, which collected 727 samples and 13 rock chips, aims to locate potential pegmatite-hosted mineralisation near Bulletin Resources' (ASX:BNR) Phillips South lithium discovery.

Multi-element geochemistry analysis confirms intrusive-related mineralisation, with subtle lithium and pathfinder enrichment suggesting dacitic dykes and Pallinup Siltstone remnants.

The company will evaluate the results against baseline geology and recent high-resolution magnetic surveys, infrared, and shortwave infrared imagery before deciding on the next field program.
