Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $4.5 billion in trading on their first day, with those launched by BlackRock, Grayscale and Fidelity reporting the highest volumes of the ten new offerings.

BlackRock's ETF, iShares Bitcoin Trust, handled over $1 billion of the total.

However, one issuer was noted to have yet to begin trading as expected.

This follows recent regulatory changes allowing Bitcoin spot ETFs in the US.
