Spanish Embassy crypto queries spark concerns

The Spanish embassy's official social media account in Bosnia and Herzegovina has drawn attention for its keen interest in cryptocurrency airdrops from platforms like Jupiter and Dymension.

Observers have raised concerns over the account's activity, suggesting it may have been hacked due to its unusual inquiries about crypto projects, particularly regarding airdrops and technical upgrades.

In one incident, the account queried about the timing of a Jupiter snapshot in a message to the WEN meme coin page on Jan. 30, a post that was later removed.

The embassy didn't stop there; it also reached out to the BEAM gaming blockchain network, seeking information about its launchpad, further fueling speculation about the legitimacy of these interactions.
