SkyCity Entertainment Group said South Australia's gambling regulator will resume the independent review of SkyCity's Adelaide casino, which was paused in February last year due to anti-money laundering proceedings by the Australian financial crimes regulator.

The matter was resolved earlier this month when a federal court approved SkyCity's agreement to pay the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre a penalty of $67 million.

The review is expected to conclude by the end of 2024.

"SkyCity and SkyCity Adelaide will continue to cooperate with Consumer and Business Services and the Acting Commissioner regarding the independent review," the company said.
