SiliconAurora in talks for ElectraNet access to expand Aurora Energy precinct

1414 Degrees (ASX:14D) and Vast Renewables' joint venture, SiliconAurora, is in talks to access ElectraNet's 275kV Hill-to-Hill transmission line.

This access is crucial for linking the Aurora Energy Precinct's initial stages to the network.

The parties involved aim to finalise a binding agreement by Sept. 30, pending an independent technical review on connection risks.

The precinct, located near Port Augusta, South Australia, led by SiliconAurora, plans a 140MW/280MWh battery energy storage system.
