The Shiba Inu (CRYPTO:SHIB) project has announced the launch of the closed beta for Shiba Eternity, a Web3 version of their collectible card game built on the Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain.

The beta is set to release this week, with exclusive access granted to those involved in the Shiba Inu token ecosystem.

To gain early access, players must stake LEASH (CRYPTO:LEASH) tokens via Shibaswap.

This staking requirement not only restricts entry to the game but also strengthens the community ties within the "ShibArmy elite."

Following the initial release, access will also be available to holders of Shiboshi, Sheboshi, or Shiba Eternity Lore NFTs, broadening the player base and boosting engagement.

    Community response has been enthusiastic.

Early access details were confirmed by Shiba Inu's marketing lead, Lucie, who shared that the game was already being played by some members.

She highlighted the strategic importance of Shiba Eternity in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, noting that increased gameplay would drive transactions on Shibarium, utilise BONE (CRYPTO:BONE), burn SHIB tokens, and raise the demand for Shiboshis.

The Web3 version of Shiba Eternity is designed to enhance player ownership of in-game assets and integrate cryptocurrency elements into the gaming experience.

Transactions will use BONE, promoting the burning of SHIB tokens.

Upcoming features include ranked tournaments and NFT minting, aimed at deepening the connection between the game and the Shibarium network.

LEASH tokens play a crucial role in this ecosystem, serving as both an access and exclusivity token.

With a limited supply of 107,565 tokens, LEASH is integral to governance and future developments within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, including potential airdrops and metaverse opportunities.
