SensOre (ASX:S3N) has been awarded $322,000 in grant funding from the NSW government for its critical minerals and high-tech metals activation fund.
The funds will be used to expand SensOre's data platform on the east coast and support its lithium pegmatite and other battery mineral targeting initiatives.
SensOre says the project will involve using remote sensing and AI/machine learning technology to identify new sources of lithium, caesium, tantalum, and tin, and generate litho-geochemical and mineral prospectivity maps of New South Wales.
The strategies outlined in the NSW Critical Minerals and High-Tech Metals Strategy aim to drive investment into the critical minerals and high-tech metals sector across the entire supply chain in NSW.
