Scorpion Minerals initiated its maiden lithium-focused reverse circulation drilling program at the Pharos Project, covering 1,295 km2 in the Murchison mineral field, Western Australia.

The program, consisting of up to 10 holes totalling around 1,000m, aims to test the stratigraphy and structural orientation of outcropping lithium–caesium–tantalum pegmatites at Poona East and West targets.

Historical surface sampling revealed high-grade lithium values up to 2.99% Li2O and previous exploratory drilling at Poona East produced significant results.

Future exploration plans include geological mapping, soil geochemistry, and reverse circulation or diamond drilling, with updates expected throughout the first and second quarters of 2024.
