SBI, a Japanese cryptocurrency finance leader, and Saudi Aramco, a global oil giant, are forging a partnership to explore mutual investments in digital assets.

SBI plans to establish SBI Middle East in Riyadh, aiming to introduce Japanese digital asset startups to the Saudi market and facilitate technological and investment exchange.

The partnership encompasses various technology projects, including constructing semiconductor factories in both Japan and Saudi Arabia, indicating a broad collaboration scope.

Three key areas define this collaboration: joint investments in digital assets, support for Japanese startups specialising in digital assets in Saudi Arabia, and establishing semiconductor manufacturing facilities in both countries.
