Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA) boosts quarterly ore mining by 44% in North American lithium operation

Sayona Mining reported a 44% increase in quarter-over-quarter ore mined at its North American lithium operation, attributed to enhanced blasting efficiency and dilution management.

Spodumene concentrate production grew 9% to 34,237 dry metric tonnes, with a record monthly production of 13,954 dmt in December 2023.

Despite a 52% decrease in the average realised selling price to $946 per dmt, the company demonstrated robust financial performance, with a 76% quarter-over-quarter increase in revenue to $23 million.

Sayona Mining's cash balance remains strong at $158 million, down 32%.
