Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ:RIVN) has announced that its Chief Accounting Officer, Jeffrey Baker, will resign effective July 27, 2024.

Baker is departing to pursue another opportunity, and his resignation is not related to any disagreements concerning the company’s financial practices.

In response to this transition, Rivian's board of directors has appointed Claire McDonough, currently the Chief Financial Officer, as the interim principal accounting officer starting July 27, 2024.

McDonough will hold this position while the company conducts a search for a permanent Chief Accounting Officer.
