Riversgold reported assay results from its recent reverse circulation drilling at the Northern Zone Gold Project, located 25 km east-southeast of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

The drilling program revealed high-grade gold mineralisation to the north and south of the company's maiden diamond drill hole traverse.

Intercepts include 18m at 4.14g/t gold from 36m in drill hole NZRC001 and 54m at 0.38g/t gold from 158m in NZRC004.

Further results are 9m at 0.85g/t gold from 176m in NZRC006 and 22m at 0.41g/t gold from 272m to end of hole in the same drill hole.

A follow-up drilling campaign will target an identified fault believed to control mineralisation and explore extensions in various directions, pending upcoming assay results from recent aircore drilling.
