Ripple president envisions RLUSD stablecoin

Ripple President Monica Long discussed Ripple’s (CRYPTO:XRP) plans to launch RLUSD, a stablecoin aimed at optimizing efficiency in major payment corridors.

She emphasized its role alongside XRP, which continues as a bridge asset in less liquid corridors.

Ripple aims to expand beyond payments into enterprise blockchain solutions, leveraging recent regulatory clarity on XRP's status as a commodity.

Despite US regulatory challenges, Long highlighted international support and discussed the potential for a US spot XRP ETF, citing XRP’s market presence and sustained trading volumes as key factors driving this initiative.
